"Some of my fondest memories will always be of day workin' on ranches in southwest New Mexico. After long days of workin' cattle, I've spent many an evening singin' cowboy songs in the living room of Tuffy Cooper. He loves the old music, as do I, and has often commented after I would sing one of the old classics, "You ought to record your version of that!" So, this collection of songs is not only some of my favorites, but also some of the most beloved of Tuffy.

I dedicate "Follow the Wagon" to my friend, Tuffy Cooper. These songs have certainly been recorded many times over, but they are timeless, and like Tuffy, classics. The tracks cut by Tuffy Cooper, and men like him, are a part of the history of the modern contemporary West, and like the pioneers of the Old West, they are national treasures.
