Hittin’ The Trail (1937): When cowboy Tex Randall is mistaken for the notorious Tombstone Kid, saloon owner James Clark mends the mix-up, but then plays Tex in a rigged game of roulette and tricks him into buying the herd of stolen horses he has been unable to move. Tex gets the last laugh, however, when he later reveals himself as a railroad company agent. This singing Western showcases some of the best stunts in Hollywood history, including a stampede in which Tex jumps from his steed, White Flash, to the nearest horse, working his way from animal to animal until he reaches the head villain.

Cast: Tex Ritter, Jerry Bergh, Tommy Bupp, Earl Dwire

Three In The Saddle (1944): Greedy stage-line proprietor John Rankin (Edward Howard) and his outlaw gang are after Peggy Barlow's Tin Cup Ranch which she refuses to sell. Meanwhile, Tex Haines (Tex Ritter) is accused of killing one of Rankin’s bodyguards, but he eludes capture long enough to meet up with Dave Wyatt (Dave O’Brien) and Panhandle Perkins (Guy Wilkerson), a couple of Texas Rangers in disguise. Despite constant argument about talking the law into one’s own hands, the three work together in an attempt to prevent Ranking from evicting Peggy.
