My Pal Trigger (1946): Considered by many to be Roy Roger's best western, this unusual but charming film tells the life story of his beloved horse Trigger, from his birth to his role as Rogers 's trusty sidekick. While mostly focused on the relationship between a cowboy and his horse, the film also contains all the makings of a great B-western: tense drama, action, and fast-paced hi-jinks.

Cast: George "Gabby" Hayes, Roy Rogers, Dale Evans, Trigger

Roll on Texas Moon (1946): To get the Delaney ranch Cole's henchman Anders has started a phony range war between the cattlemen and sheepmen. After killing Delaney, he tries to kill his daughter Jill and then Roy who was sent to investigate the war. But the failed attempts gives Roy the information he needs.

Cast: Roy Rogers, Trigger, George 'Gabby' Hayes, Dale Evans, Dennis Hoey
