Riders of the Whistling Pines (1949): When a young woman is in danger of being swindled out of her property, Autry is there to step in and save the day. A vicious gang of murdering lumber thieves wants to run her off to get the timber. They have already killed one man and are ready to resume their murderous ways when Autry fights them off, builds a case to hang them for murder, and still manages to get in some singing.
